Minister Wakamiya Receives a Courtesy Call by H.E. Dr. Bujar OSMANI (Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of North Macedonia), and Newly Announced 9 Countries' Participation in the Expo.

On May 30th, Minister Wakamiya received a courtesy call by H.E. Dr. Bujar OSMANI (Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of North Macedonia). At the meeting, Mr. Bujar OSMANI confirmed North Macedonia 's participation in the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai.

Also, at the Japan-Singapore Summit Meeting on May 26th, Mr. Lee Hsien Loong (Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore) confirmed Singapore's participation in the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai.

On May 31th , Minister Wakamiya Kenji had a press conference and announced that there are 9 countries newly confirmed their participation in the Expo; Republic of North Macedonia, Singapore, Republic of Kenya, Solomon Islands, Independent State of Samoa, Republic of Niger, Republic of Bulgaria, Republic of Haiti, and Federated States of Micronesia. This makes in total of 115 countries/ regions and 7 international organizations that have confirmed their participation.
