Minister Wakamiya Receives a Courtesy Call by　Mr. Nor' Azam Bin Mohd Idrus(Deputy Chief of Mission of Malaysia to Japan), and announced 5 Countries' Participation in the Expo.

On April 18th, Minister Wakamiya received a courtesy call by Nor' Azam Bin Mohd Idrus, Deputy Chief of Mission of Malaysia to Japan. At the meeting, Mr Nor’Azam confirmed Malaysia 's participation in the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai. Minister Wakamiya wholeheartedly welcomed the Malaysia 's participation, and confirmed continued close coordination towards a success of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.

Also, on April 19th , Minister Wakamiya Kenji had a press conference and announced that there are ５ countries newly confirmed their participation in the Expo; Ireland, Oriental Republic of Uruguay, Republic of Guatemala, Republic of Kosovo, and Malaysia. This makes in total of 105 countries/ regions and 7 international organizations that have confirmed their participation.
