Government of Japan rebuts South Korea again

The Government of Japan is going to find a early settlement of the pending issue between Japan and South Korea, but according to a source in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it has made clear that the Ministry recently handed over an official document entitled "Rebuttal against the opinion of the Republic of Korea by the Government of Japan concerning Takeshima" to Minister KIM of the Delegation of South Korea to Japan, and expressed the strong claim of the Government of Japan on the territorial sovereignty over Takeshima. This was an development of the claim that Takeshima is inherently Japanese territory based on historical grounds and international law, in response to the position of the Government of South Korea that "Takeshima is South Korean territory" sent on September 9th, 1953. The South Korean side will rebut in few days against the rebuttal of the Government of Japan.
