Although it (=Takeshima) is an uninhabited island in the western area of the Sea of Japan with no trees, it is nonetheless a "treasure island", which we cannot abandon, for the fishery country, Japan. As a reporter, in order to see the reality of Takeshima, fortunately, I got on "Daisen", the research vessel of the Tottori Prefecture Fisheries Research Institute, which was going to conduct the trial fishing operation of Pacific Saury stick-held clip net fishing, then landed the island on 30th.
