At the Oki Mercantile Marine and Fisheries High School, as the various equipments were fully installed since the study tour to North Korea was planned last year, according to the following schedule, the School made the training ship of Otori-maru depart at 9 a.m. of the 8th from Saigo Port and the pelagic navigation and fisheries research practical training has been started by the third year students of the fisheries course of the School. The training period will be scheduled for 17 days and students will visit fishing ports of the North Korea, to Chongjin and Unggi, and study industrial conditions of various fields over the total distance of 1,000 nautical miles, (text omitted).
22nd 3 p.m., Arrive on Utsuryo Island (Ulleungdo), stay for 9 hours,
23rd 7 a.m., Arrive on Lanko Island (*i.e. Takeshima), stay for 3 hours, at 10 p.m. return to Saigo.
