1. When you sail for Takeshima, there is a small island called Matsushima approx. 275km to 314km away from Fukuura of Dogo, Oki County. We petitioned for permission at the time of Taitoku-in (the Second Shogun Hidetada TOKUGAWA [1605-1623]) to sail for this island Matsushima, and we received the permission. Then we sailed for Matsushima every year, as we did for Takeshima.
