On March 2nd, 2022, Minister Wakamiya received a courtesy call by H.E. Mr. Rahm Emanuel, Ambassador of United States to Japan. At the meeting, they both confirmed continued close cooperation towards the success of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, to which the United States has already announced its participation.
