On August 8th 2021, Mr. Inoue Shinji, Minister for the World Expo 2025, held a meeting with Her Excellency Reem Bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation and Managing Director of the Dubai Expo 2020, United Arab Emirates. At the meeting, H.E. Reem spoke about the experience of the Dubai Expo and expressed expectations for the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai. Minister Inoue introduced the Japan pavilion at the Expo 2020 Dubai and expressed his hope that the Osaka-Kansai Expo would be a success based on the learning from the experience of the Dubai Expo.
