Expo 2025 Invitation Activity: Meeting with H.E. Ms. Julia Longbottom CMG, Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Japan

Further to the Registration of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan at the BIE General Assembly in December last year, we have been inviting other countries and international organizations around the world to participate in the Expo. On 11th June, Mr. Inoue Shinji, Minister for the World Expo 2025 met with H.E. Ms. Julia Longbottom, Ambassador of the United Kingdom. Stressing the importance of further fostering the Japan-U.K. relations and expressing Japan's resolve to successfully host the Expo, Minister Inoue sought the U.K.'s active support for, and participation in, the Expo. Japan will continue to take a variety of occasions to invite other countries and international organizations to participate in the Expo.
