On the 8th, Mr. SHIMODA, Director-General of the Treaties Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, attended the General Council of the Liberal Party, and gave the following explanation concerning the Takeshima dispute and the progress of MSA negotiations.
- The Takeshima dispute: Since South Korea has not yet occupied Takeshima so far, we are not thinking to exercise the right of self-defense right now.
