The Government of Japan lodged a second protest regarding the problem of the Korean invasion of Takeshima against the Delegation of the ROK to Japan by a note verbale on 8th in the afternoon.
On 12th, the Government lodged a protest of that
- Takeshima is clearly Japanese territory on both historical and legal grounds, and
- The illegal invasion of this Japanese Territory and illegal shooting are regrettable, however, since the Korean side did not refer to these points at all on 4th, the Government demanded further explanation of South Korea on 8th.
