Content | Letter from a reader regarding a news report on Liancourt Rocks, which was renamed Takashima. The author sent the open letter (posted to the newspaper) addressing the Imperial Navy officials and geographers concerning the possible confusions occurring among the people due to the circumstances that, while Liancourt Rocks had been renamed Takeshima, in the San'in Region Utsuryo Island (Ulleungdo) had been called Takeshima and that there was an island called Matsushima near Oki Island. |
