This survey has been conducted continuously since 1953 as a commissioned project of the Government.
Survey results:
1. (text omitted) Regarding fishing grounds, the operations have done intensively in coastal waters of Uotsuri Island from April until the end of the fishing season, while in the early fishery season from November to January operations were mainly conducted in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishery Zone 534 in the central East China Sea, and the west of Uotsuri Island from March onwards.
