 There were very few fishing boats to go out fishing for Indo-Pacific sailfish around N28° E124°, which has shown good fishing since November. Since the black marlin season usually starts in January, most boats went out fishing in the vicinity of N25°50′ E122°40′ to 123°10′ near Uotsuri Island.

Content From January, most boats went out for coastal waters of Uotsuri Island in the Senkaku Islands, targeting black marlin. Although catches of black marlin decreased in February, Indo-Pacific sailfish were caught near Kuba Island (Kobisho). In March, catches of black marlin were depressed and the number of boats moving to the Kuba Island (Kobisho) fishing grounds increased.
