State of marlin longline fishing, spring 1954
State of general fishing
January
There were very few fishing boats to go out fishing for Indo-Pacific sailfish around N28° E124°, which has shown good fishing since November. Since the black marlin season usually starts in January, most boats went out fishing in the vicinity of N25°50′ E122°40′ to 123°10′ near Uotsuri Island.
