Mr Koga's achievements in the Ryukyu Islands (9)
Exploration and business operation on Nakano-Ugan Island
Nakano-Ugan Island, isolated uninhabited island lying at 12333' east longitude, 2313' north latitude. Here, Mr Koga had previously attempted field exploration, and found the island to be inhabited by flocks of water fowl and the coasts be rich with marine produce. He therefore drew up a plan and deemed that if it succeeded, this would definitely be a promising location. He then obtained permission right away, and has currently sent 23 migrant workers and 2 supervisors to the island, where they have started work on the business operation. His general scale of business on this island is wholly in accordance with the norm for the Senkaku Islands.
