An honor for Mr Koga

Some time ago, Mr Koga Tatsushiro exhibited pearls and other marine products at the Nagasaki Fisheries Exposition, and all of them were nominated for awards. In particular, the great honor of having produce purchased by the Crown Prince was as described in the press at the time, and because of his exceptional achievements in connection with seafood, Mr Koga was separately awarded the Silver Cup for Merit. The preamble to the award certificate is reproduced on the left (below).

Silver Cup Naha Ward,
Okinawa Prefecture Koga Tatsushiro

He has long devoted himself to increasing production in the islands of Okinawa, earnestly engaged in harvesting and exporting marine produce, developed fisheries in the Yaeyama Islands, attempted exploration in the uninhabited Senkaku Islands, made efforts such as harvesting marine produce and stuffing water fowl, and has been an exceptional pioneer in resettlement.
During this time he has worked hard at this business, and truly deserves to win this award for his achievements.
