Guide to Ishigaki Island

Koga Branch
Started a marine product trading business in May 1896, engaged in developing the Senkaku Islands from 1897. Now highly successful. Head Office in Naha, proprietor Koga Tatsushiro. In the first year in business, shells were fetching 5 sen per kin (about 0.6kg), but in 1907 this had risen to 10 sen.

It purchases 40,000 kin on average every year. The manager is Tsutsumi Teiko.
