Content | This ordinance, published in late 1902, placed Uotsuri Island, Kuba Island and the adjacent islands under the administrative district of Tonoshiro, Ishigaki City of Okinawa Prefecture. It established an administrative status, and this mandate continues to this day. This was the main achievement of Shigeru NARAHARA, the prefectural governor at that time who tackled the systematic reform of Okinawa Prefecture. |
