On the 2nd of this month, Chinyouki (Chen Yao Hui), - captain of the boat Keikei-go (Qing Qing Hao), - 344 Nishimongai, Shinchiku, Taihoku Ken (Ximending, Hsinchu City, Taipei County) along with nine sailors from Xiamen in the Qing Dynasty, who had been drifting in coastal waters of Uotsuri Island in this Prefecture, 118 nautical miles northwest of Keelung, were rescued by the Osaka Shosen Kaisha steamship Suma-Maru and transported here.

Content A cable by Okinawa Prefecture; 10 crew of the Qing Dynasty members of the Taiwanese boat Keikei-go (Qing Qing Hao) who had been drifting in coastal waters of Uotsuri Island in Okinawa Prefecture have been rescued by the Osaka Shosen Kaisha (OSK) vessel Suma-Maru and escorted to Naha Port. It required an advise of a repatriation port by return cable.
