Report from Sakai (On an inspection tour of Takeshima by Shimane Prefecture) (Inpaku Jiho (newspaper))

An inspection tour of Takeshima (last year), which Shimane Prefecture had planned in August 1905, was temporarily suspended due to bad weather and other difficulties, but, on 23rd of the last month, the tour was planned once again. Then, we got on Dai-ni Oki-maru, departed from here, and went via Saigo (Port) in Oki. Having finished the inspection of Takeshima and Utsuryo Island (Ulleungdo), we returned to the port on 30th. We caught numbers of - 3000 - sea lions, and the wharf looks so grand.
