(text omitted) When Yakita IZAWA and two others were shipwrecked on the coast of the Qing Dynasty having been caught in a storm while on their way from the Yaeyama Islands in Okinawa Prefecture to Kuba Island (part omitted) Since the Minister is deeply grateful for the fact that they received such cordial protection and rescue, I (Minister) instructed you to convey the gratitude to officals of the Qing Dynasty who helped to repatriate Japanese castaways.
