Report concerning the matter of mineral ores on Uotsuri island

Regarding the report concerning the matter of surveys on Uotsuri and two other islands on the 5th of this month and the appended official report, the reports mentioned doubts as to whether coal or iron ores exist, but Yoshitada KOBAYASHI, an epigraphist and the 3rd Grade Teacher of this Prefecture, was subsequently asked to conduct analysis. Then, he reported that the mineral ores would suffice for ironmaking, as shown on the attachment, which I attach to this report.
